This wine begins with a sophisticated floral fragrance followed by sweet spice and ripe black cherry and logan berry fruits. The palate is gorgeous – loads of fruit and spice; it’s textural yet silky and velvety with fragrant red fruits and a dark chocolate savoury finish. The wine is very pure with a lovely acidity and long finish.

Plush, ripe, supple Central Otago Pinot Noir from 2022 vintage. This wine was vinified from a blend of fruit from Cromwell basin and Bannockburn. It was hand-harvested, 12% whole bunch, followed by wild fermentation, then barrique aged with 18% new French oak. Unfined, X-flowed, bottled August 2023.
